About Adrianne Serna

Sometimes a girl just needs a little time to herself. This was the case when I told my band that I needed a break from gigs so I could write songs for the new CD. We called it a "hiatus." It was supposed to be 2 months. Just a little breather.

It turns out that a "hiatus" is even more lovely than it sounds. Relaxing. Liberating. Ahhhh....

So now it's been over two years....and I'm not sure exactly how that happened. But it's been a great two years! I think the time has really allowed me to grow as a songwriter and musician. I've even picked up the ukulele, and I dare say that I am in love.

I was still taking my sweet time, minding my own biz, until the other day when my friend Andy informed me that he heard my song, "Let It Shine" (also known as "Shine Shine Shine"), at the movie theatre. It turns out that Rescue Records, who I recently signed a licensing deal with, got it placed into the Regal Cinema chain. Apparently "Let It Shine" is playing (before the movie starts) in theatres all across the country. And what great news! Except for the song wasn't available yet!

So Sernasongs.com is born. Out with the old, in with the new.  Please check out the BRAND NEW EP available on the music page. It is only available right here at Sernasongs.com, and it will disappear into the ether as soon as the full album is out. And if you buy it,  you will have the pleasure of owning versions of my songs that no one else has.

Please stay tuned for a more complete website, including my entire catalog of songs, and lots of other fun stuff.

Thanks for stopping by.
